Overview:
The equipment is designed to simulate and increase the environmental effects on metal materials exposed to outdoor atmosphere with salt contamination and accelerated corrosion. The equipment includes test methods for cyclic exposure of samples to salt spray, dry, humid and hot environments. The test of this equipment is a comparative test, and the test results cannot predict the long-term corrosion resistance of the same metal materials used in this environmental condition. However, this method can still provide valuable information about the properties of materials exposed to salt contamination under conditions similar to those tested. Compared with the traditional accelerated corrosion test, such as neutral salt spray test (NSS), acetic acid salt spray test (AASS), copper accelerated acetic acid salt spray test (CASS), the biggest advantage of this device test is that it can better reproduce the corrosion occurring in outdoor salt pollution environment.
